Since I only flipped through Dragonmarked, this is working off the vague memory of the 3-tiered feat line, similar to normal dragonmarks.

1. What are the levels of each of the aberrant marks spells. I'm thinking about maybe adding some spells onto the aberrant mark list and am looking for a range.

2. Do aberrant marks require a less powerful mark/feat as a prerequisite, or can I give an NPC a greater aberrant mark without them having a least and lesser one?

Thanx in advance.

In answer to your questions abberant marks work the same way as normal marks do they have the same requirement as their counter parts but if you use them there is a penalty of sorts in that as the marks get strong you have to roll a sv or be daze or worse. I don't have my book here with me but I'll post those issues today unless someone beats me to it.

I'll answer you in reverse order...

2) You need Least to have Lesser, Lesser to have Greater.

In answer to question 1, the Least Aberrant is generally a level 1 or 2 spell,
the more potent, the lesser the spell level. The Lesser is usually a 3rd or 4th
level spell, and the Greater is generally a 5th or 6th.

It honestly depends on what spells are taken that depends on the spell level,
and then you factor in Character level and charisma for the Casting level...

so if you take Greater Aberant at 9th level, you're caster level is 5 + 1/2 your
character level, in this case 9th level for all your dragonmark spells...

I say the same thing to all my players when I DM. "Dont break down an NPC's stats/abilities. They might not follow the same rules you do."
