Greets all,

I was wondering, could you use the feat [Wand Surge, MoE51] with the item infused with [Spell Storing Item, ECS115]? - The description says "Becomes ... a wand with a single charge, ..."

Theoretically yes.

If wand surge only worked with wands, then I'd have said no, since the text of Spell Storing Item that you missed out says that the item becomes "in effect" a wand, not in actuality.
However, Wand Surge works with any charged spell trigger item, which is what you do create with Spell storing Item.

You are right that this question could go either way, same reason that Metamagic Item infusion might or might not work ... still, if you could, SSI would become so much more useful! - The key phrase here is '... in effect ...'; what does that mean? - Guess many infusions work this way - changing things temporarily into other kinds of things (or effects) ... I don't know, but would rather not let such an important thing be left to the whims of a DM :P
