| Nerdicus10-06-07, 01:11 PM | I'm about to start a new campaign in Eberron for my table top group and I am going to be throwing a living spell at them. To give you an idea of the situation: Level 3 group starting out on the Cyre river working as guards for a riverboat captain. On the river they are going to come across a few things and one of them is a living spell that roamed out of the Mournlands. I was thinking of using the Cloud of Blades spell for it but was wondering if anyone else out there has any better ideas. |
| Belabras10-06-07, 02:04 PM | Didn't someone stat out a Living Disjunction awhile back? |
| xenosauridae10-06-07, 08:36 PM | Once my DM let me have a living cure moderate wounds spell as a familiar. That was pretty useful. |
| larry_the_titan10-08-07, 08:50 AM | Baleful Polymorph + Invisibilty/Greater Invisibilty + Teleport/Plane Shift Roll Random for the effects of Polymorph and Teleport/Plane Shift and then let chaos insue. :D If they decide to fight the creature it will just send them to some random Place/Plane as some random thing, giving them a short amount of time of being invisible to hide before being seen. |
| Lord_Tirian10-08-07, 02:37 PM | I guess a Hideous Laughter + Suggestion could wreak havoc in a city... or on a party. Cheers, LT. |
| Label10-08-07, 02:50 PM | Here's some ideas http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=921192 I already throw a Living Spell of Create Food and Water at my PCs, and even a Living Spell of Detect Magic. They kept them in bags of holdings. |
| Crake10-10-07, 01:19 AM | It might be fun to trap the PCs in a dungeon where a living transmute rock to mud and transmute mud to rock are slugging it out. |
| Sliver_Slave10-30-07, 10:13 PM | It might be fun to trap the PCs in a dungeon where a living transmute rock to mud and transmute mud to rock are slugging it out. that could be deadly. The rock is transmuted to mud, then to rock, so they are encased in solid rock..... I'm not sure if it would work, but a living Awaken. Muhahahahahaha. |
| Revvecor10-30-07, 10:29 PM | I'm not sure of if its possible, but a living Summon Monster spell could be equally amusing:cool: |
| BrotherDog10-31-07, 06:32 AM | The meanest one I've ever run was a Living Permanency Spell. When it hits, not only does it do slam damage, but it also drains the XP needed to make any active spells permanent. Ouch! Sure there can be a plus side to it, but that XP drain hurts. |

Yeah it hurt because its not meant to be like that. Supernatural abilities and Spell like abilities don't have xp costs for the user or the target. |
