Highschool_Magic 09-06-07, 09:19 PM	As we know the aberrants created a house years ago, but that turned into a massive war. However, what if (in the new age of Eberron) some aberrants band together to form a house of good. A house where they do charity work or something to help show the world that they are not all evil. Now, they wouldnt automatically start out as a house, they would be as an orginization of some sort. They merely use the name house to show their connection to the Marks (their goal would become an "offical" mark). Their "house" would be a beacon to all abberants. A place of safety from the outside world. Now, this is just an idea. I am not for or againist it, so do not bash me for it. I merely came up with this idea driving to school today. It seems to me as a good arch campaign. Opinions? High School Magic.
Shady314 09-07-07, 07:27 AM	Well people have posted this idea before. Though it should be noted the aberrants never formed together into a house. Tarkanan gathered them together in self-defense but never in the structure of a house. See the most important feature of aberrant marks is they do not reliably appear in theme or bloodlines. A true dragonmark has a decent chance of passing to your sons and daughters whereas an aberrant one can appear once in a generation and never again. And if one does appear on a descendant it will probably be a wildly different power. So they will always end up being an organization not a House. Even if they call themselves one. One of the problems is people still fear the idea of aberrant marks banding together. Tarkanan and the LoP are bogeymen told to frighten children. At least in Sharn. You can't be open about it and there IS a house for aberrants. It's an assassin's guild in Sharn called House Tarkanan which isn't going to help matters.
