Siberys 12-17-07, 09:30 PM	Well, I got my copy of DoE recently, and am impressed. One thing that piqued my interest, though, was Zenobaal (p. 71). I like the story behind him, and it allows for an epic, intrigue/mystery threat, a-la the quori. Anyway, I was reading the statblock, and a thought came over me - give him all ten levels in Cataclysm mage. He'll now have a dragonmark IN ADDITION to the hidecarvings. This would further cement his madness - Imagine the NORMAL draconic reaction to a non-dragon messing with the prophecy like a CM would; A dragon'd have to be pretty illucid to resort to that sort of experimentation. Mayhaps that's what gave him the "final understanding of the prophecy" that pushed him over the edge? he'd be a CR of 46+, depending on if I filled out his Hidecarved Dragon or Monk levels, or threw on some templates. Still... Just the imagery in my head makes me quiver with anticipation of the possible climax of an epic-level Eberron game
