Any specifics on the Calderus [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-24-07, 10:28 PM I noticed this psionic vampire, Calderus mentioned in SCoT in the section desribing the Dephs of Sharn. But it doesn't mention anything other that the gender of the vampire. Is there any mention of Her in any other book or article, in paticulair her race and some background info?

I think I'm gonna make her an Elven Psion if I can find out, but I like to see if wizards has made some interesting details about this psionic vampire.

06-25-07, 12:42 PM I'm using Calderus in an adventure; I haven't statted her out yet, but making her goblinoid would be awesome. Daelkyr-corrupted, anyone? I was going for elven or human, but I think I like goblinoid better... :evillaugh

Anyway, the plot is, basically, she is kidnapping 'marked individuals to suck out the DMs and power her Eldritch Machine, which will force a TON of draagonmarks onto her, making her incredibly powerful. Of course, Vol is interested in it, for the possibility of adapting it to give her the Mark of Death again.

Anyways, I am connecting it to WotVB by using Lucan. (After he escapes - again! - from the Dark Lanterns.)

06-25-07, 12:49 PM I half-made up a Psychic Vampire template to give to her minions. (*they had the Mindflayer mindblast ability and could drain levels as a ranged attack. Then I added various psion powers per hit dice, something like the phrenic template.) I didn't add level just increased hit dice. They freaked my pcs out when the faced a couple of Vampire Spawn with strange powers.
