Hello

If there is a secret service for Cyre, look in The Forge of War since that one deals with the Last War in detail. And before you ask no I haven't read that book yet, I have it but haven't had the chance to read it yet.

After the Day of Mourning, it kinda became a moot point.

It's not been specified in any of the books, really. However, a few months ago, a thread popped up about someone wanting to play an ex-agent of Cyre's secret service. The boards came up with a few ideas. Here it is (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=845962).

Karrnath has The Black Cabinet, btw.

The only Cyran "special forces" mentioned by name in FoW are the Champions of the Bell, which operates more like an adventuring party.

I've suggested "Silent Bells" as a name for the Cyran intelligence service.

Wasn't there something about the Ghost Walkers of Metrol? And that being a rather fitting name after the Mourning? Or was that something created here on the forums?

There is no official name for the Cyran Secret Service. The Ghostwalkers... wasn't that in Forge of War as a group walking the mournlands?

In my campaign, the remaining Cyrans in Breland are beginning to form a secret service / theives guild in Sharn and New Cyre. I am using the Nightsong Guild from CAdv as a template and a modified version of the Nightsong Infiltrators as the prestige class corresponding to the King's Dark Lanterns. I am removing the Nightsong's grant move action powers (which I think is just an odd power for a non-magic using class) and replacing them with Nondetection and Uncanny Dodge. Also, the Detect Magic power is listed as unlimited and that's a little too crazy for me (I'm making it 3/day). I am thinking of dropping some of the other more theif oriented abilities like specialized tools, etc for some Sneak Attack dice. Comments would be welcome.
