The only Eberron books I have so far are the CS, Magic Of, and S:CoT. I'd like more information on Merrix, things such as appearance, personality, patterns of speech, etc. Does he make an appearance in any Eberron novel thus far, or is any more information about him given in another rulebook? I also found it rather interesting that most of his actions and attitudes as stated in the books I have don't seem terribly evil, and some of them even seem to speak well of him; I realize that Eberron blurs the traditional alignment lines, but there has to be some reason for applying an AL label to any given character, and I'd like to know more about him to find out exactly why he's listed as LE (instead of, say, LN). I'm intrigued by potential antagonists that don't appear as such at first and even second glance (good ol' Eberron in general). Does anyone know more about this character, and can anyone direct me to sources?

These adventures gives you some background info on him.
Forgotten forge (back of the CS p310 for specific info)
Shadows of the last war
Grasp of the emerald claw.

and he has a clear turn as a LE person in there, at least as I see it. Specially in Emerald claw. And there is about 3-5 lines about him as I could find with a quick look in the Dragonmarked sourcebook.

There's also a picture of him in Dragonmarked. (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/Dragonmarked_Gallery/101300.jpg)

And there's this Q&A by Keith Baker (http://bossythecow.com/askthedreamingdark8406.htm), but it was written before Dragonmarked and, if it matters, wasn't canon anyway.

I take it the human figurine in the image is intended to represent Merrix?

Thanks to both for source references :)
