| Xanic_Indus05-13-07, 12:18 AM | With all the new and amazing magic items and equipment to have come out of Eberron which are your favorites? For those who don't know please include a small description. My personal favorites: 1. Spare Hand - A strap-on additional arm (Great for Artificers & Wizards) 2. Cannith Goggles - +5 to Search and Spot checks (A treasure hunter's friend) |
| shadowpavement05-13-07, 08:31 PM | Featherfall amulets. No better way for a villan to get away than just running off the edge of a tower in Sharn :D |
| gaerfindel05-14-07, 07:39 AM | Wand braclet, very very handy in a pinch. The various homunculoi. A cross bow that follows me around and shoots by itself? Kewl! |
| Lanodantheon05-18-07, 02:16 AM | Eternal Wands: Give a Fireball to an Assassin twice a day always makes a party paranoid. But personally, my favorite Eberron specific items are not personal items that PC's can own, they are the background items that set pieces are built on. The Lightning Rail: Great for getting PC's across the continent and the roofs make for great swordfights. Airships: There are only two things better than an airship getting PC's to their destination: 1. An airship crashing into something. 2. An airship crashing into another Airship in midair, over Sharn, during a parade (But that only happened one time when my PC's broke the Whisper of the Vampire's Blade Adventure). Eldritch Machine: I can write off anything new and weird in my campaign using one of these things. |
| Esgay06-02-07, 04:49 PM | Spellshards, like spellbooks but easier, and far easier to hide (or flaunt, mounted on a staff anyone?) |
| gelalshawr06-02-07, 05:52 PM | Whirlwind Armor: Why yes, my Warforged Juggernaut does have a 60ft fly speed with perfect maneuverability, why do you ask? (plus transforming into an air elemental can make getting through tight spots a bit easier.) Bloodstone Blade: hits your enemy with vampiric touch every time you swing it. Plus, if you want to cast vampiric touch into it, it Empowers it (as the feat) for you. |
| Edymnion06-02-07, 07:20 PM | Well, the Warforged don't count as an item, but close enough. :) |
| Malruhn06-04-07, 09:06 PM | Most of the magic items do it for me - but I have to vote for the eternal wands and the schemas. Nowhere near game-breaking, but neat as heck. Come on!! A stupid little item that is only usable twice a day - but NEVER runs out of charges?!?! That is nuthin' BUT cool!! |
