| tos_shai_hulud04-17-08, 11:52 PM | I am a horrible artist, even on the computer. I am running a game where the party is about to attempt subterfuge at an ir'Tain gala. The idea is they have information that one of the Daask will be attending in disguise with a large quantity of gold. There, the Daask member will attempt to bribe Bestan ir'Tonn with a large supply of gold. Using this information, they plan to obtain maps of the gala area from Clan Boromar in exchange for some of the profits from stealing the gold before it can exchange hands. So, I am looking for maps to give to the players of the gala building, nearby buildings, and anything else that might be useful in planning "The ir'Tain Job" as my party has begun calling it. Would anyone be able to recommend extremely easy to use (and inexpensive) mapping software that still has at least semi-decent quality? Or, even better, would someone be able to help me out in creating these maps? |

I particularly like this one (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/sharn_maps/M13Embassy_400.jpg), from Sharn: City of Towers. I think it would work well for a grand tower suite suited for having parties. |

That includes all of the sixty families, including their extended families, guests, and servants. My estimate: the hall is designed for perhaps three thousand guests? |

Here are several floorplans that can easily fit the bill: http://www.burjinternational.com/images/champions-tower2/floorplan.gif http://www.99acres.com/customised/sakthi-tower/floor-plan.htm http://www.anahita-realestate.com/images/nili%20tower-%20floor%20plan-1st%20to%2020th.jpg http://www.meridianbusinesscenters.com/images/6060_floor_big.gif http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/2958/tower2floorplan5thto28txg1.jpg http://www.blproperties.net/images/floorplan.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b140/digital_vd2005/skywayfoorplan.jpg You could also use floorplans of the White, House of Commons, etc. Your players probably wont know different anyway. http://www.whitehousemuseum.org/images/whitehouse-floorplan-c1952.jpg |
