Merrix before the war? [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-20-07, 11:52 PM On page 65 of the book, Forge of War, it talks about Merrix D'Cannith being head of his House BEFORE the war starts. Just how old is that guy!?

It it just an ancestor with the same name? Or is there something else behind the mysterious head of House Cannith?

07-21-07, 06:38 AM The Merrix on page 65 of FoW isn't the one from sharn, It's his grandfather. (I think)

You are correct, in fact at the bottom left side of page 65 you can see him called The Elder to differentiate him from the younger Merrix. The line goes Merrix-Aaren-Younger Merrix who currently runs Cannith South out of Sharn.
