Burningspear 05-28-07, 11:55 PM	My first Ebberon post :lop: No-mans land on the maP (splelling mistlacke) I seem to have found a stretch of coastline that is not "claimed" by any nation. Namely: At the bottom of the Ironroot Mountains, near Boneyard (east of there), south of the Mror Holds and south west of Cliffscrape (Lhazaar). That part of the Ironroot Mountains/ Hills and coastline seems to be void of any claims.. maybe ill find more such discrepancies in the maps :plotting: :rant: :gah: :smirk: (and i love smilies) if anybody has any remarks on this or if they find similarities..., glad to hear it.
garner_adam 05-29-07, 01:56 AM	Nice one Burningspear, I've noticed there's a few regions like this. In particular there's a peak that's shared by Breland, Darguun, and the Mournland. It's just west of the Mounland a single loan mountain. You can easily see it on page 135 of the ECS. I named it Mtenda Peak after a Magic: The Gathering card. What do you plan on naming the coast line you found?

Not wanting to disappoint you and all but ive just checked the map you get with the DM screen and if I follow your intructions correctly that stretch is owned by the Mror Holds. Sorry :-(

Sorry :-( Not in the Ebberon sourcebook (campaign setting), thats what i will go by, not just some flimsy DM screen :smirk:

The reason it isn't listed on the maps is because they have subtly mind blanked everyone in power so they just never notice it. When you get there, you'll find them beginning construction of a monolith and... I've already said too much... :shifty:

Shadowkire 05-29-07, 02:06 PM	My DM wanted to make a no-man's-land and he saw a few places like that but he wanted a larger area that would be more accessable, so I told him he could just make the Mournland disappear but leave the monsters in the new area.

What do you plan on naming the coast line you found? I am thinking about: Sands of Milil or Song Beach or something my character atm is a priest of Milil from Forgotten Realms...
Rekko 05-31-07, 11:33 PM	If you look carefully at the map, you'll noticed that the area we are all talking about isn't a beach. It's a cliff, a wide cliff colliding with the coastal sea. I'd say that an whole long forgotten exiled dwarf clan would be the most probable inhabitant of the place. Pirates seem to be another good call, and since it would be exiled dwarves, I don't see why the dwarves couldn't be the pirates also. However, I like the Quori having a foot on Khorvaire, and it seems just the right spot: difficult to reach, being close to Sarlona, good access to Lhazaar's ships and the Lightning rail in Krona Peak in the Mror Holds, etc. It would make the perfect location for the quori's secret high monastery.
