| m4x0r12-16-07, 01:52 AM | I'm a bit new to the Eberron setting and don't quite understand what's with the feats for region of origin. For my first feat, am I required to take one of the given feats? The same thing with the skills, do those become in-class? |
| Tiarn12-16-07, 08:25 AM | They're described on p 24 under "Region of Origin." They aren't supposed to limit your choices at all. They're just the suggested, common feats/skills that people from those regions have. Aside from suggestions they have absolutely no bearing on your character. |

| Edymnion12-16-07, 09:22 PM | Yeah, basically they are "Well, most people from Region X are good at Y, so if you want to do that, these feats would be good for you to take." They aren't required in any way, they're just suggested crunch to help back up the region flavor. Like how Karnnath has a heavy martial bent, with required military service for just about everybody, it makes sense for them to take something like a weapon proficiency feat, even if they are a class that traditionally doesn't have it. |
