| Grumgarr05-02-07, 08:40 AM | I need a place in Droaam to set a new PC's backstory. She's a changeling and had to skip town in a hurry when it became plain that she'd inadvertently ripped off 'the mafia', rather than the small-timers she thought she was stiffing. Whoever was running the town, essentially - in all probablility an agent or figurehead allowed/selected by the Daughters of Sora Kell - lost something important to the PC (though she had to ditch it to escape with her life). Crime boss wanted the whole mess cleaned up fast, getting rid of the evidence (i.e. witnesses) that they'd slipped up. The PC saw this mysterious object, and realised she'd got more than she bargained for, but didn't expect the immediate and bloody wave that swept through the underworld, forcing her to get across the border into Breland (Sharn) and invent a whole slew of new personalities with no tie to her past. So I'm looking for suggestions on where to place these nefarious and long-reaching deeds. Other than the DoSK's 'Mountain of Power', is there a decent-sized town in Droaam already written up where this plot could be plonked down? If the place has a de-facto ruler (a nice corrupt pawn of the DoSK?) that would fit perfectly...:D Any suggestions? |

It says he hungers for more power than the DoSK will allow. So you could say the item was some small magical item that he was hoping would give him more power than he already has. And there is even a town in the southwest of Droaam that is called "Tzaryan Keep". Need any more info hit me up and I'll see what I can find. |

But I could certainly have a bustling community around the keep...and a load of enforcers and agents serving the warlord. The fact that he's more ambitious than the DoSK would like is an extra bonus - the 'minor' magic item involved is perhaps not so minor (I'm thinking something of Dhakaani or other ancient origin), though exactly what it was will remain a mystery for now. Thanks retillin! |
