Hi everyone,

So, my group is going to be making their way to the Eldeen Reaches for the first time in my campaign. The reason they are going is that the druid of the group has a need to see forests and green again(they have been in Sharn for almost a year now, fighting the corruption of the city) and wants to get back to nature for a while.

Right now the group is currently.

Flint: Psi-Forged Psion Level 5 (Neutral Good)
Minok: Warfoged Artificer 6 (Neutral Good)
Keldren: Human Divine Mind 6 (Chaotic Good)
Zane: Human Monk 5 (Marked Scion of House Denier) (Lawful Neutral)
Ransoof: Half-Orc Druid 6 (Gatekeeper) (Neutral Good)

Ransoof is the one intiating the trip. Now I've the read the entry for the Eldeen Reaches and I could take some things from there, but I was wondering if anybody had some cool ideas for some side-quests while the PC's are in the Reaches. The current story arc really doesn't bring them into the Reaches at all so I don't have to worry about messing up my plot.

Any ideas, quests you've done or had ideas for would be great. Nothing too epic, just some minor stuff they could do while they are there, maybe even non-combat encounters.

Thank you all for any help. It is most appreciated.

If any additional info is needed about the campaign, please let me know.

There are several possibilities. A monster hunt, for example. A particularly nasty aberration rampages through the woods, and the groups has to stop it, then discover who let it loose. (Leading them to some Cult of the Dragon Below, an experiment-gone-wrong of some insane wizard(s), or something similar.)

Another idea: Ashbound attacks on magelings in the eastern reaches have increased. Are they the result of a extra aggressive new gang leader, or do they want to achieve something in particular?

The first one would fit the gatekeeper status of the druid better, but nothing says that he cannot exert his persuasion in the second scenario, if you do it right.

Ashbound leaning thugs in one of the bigger towns are demonstrating against Vadalis. This quickly escalates into a riot in which the party is incedentaly trapped. IF they aren't motivated to become involved have the two warforged in the party insulted and hit with Eldeen Cocktails. Being on fire should motivate them to halt the riot and maybe investigate the reasons behind it....
