Stillstone Holt is one of the better areas in Races of Eberron (come to think of it, all the areas are fleshed out just enough).

I've produced three PCs, and I'm working on two more. This is for an Introductory Session for Eberron I'm going to spring on unsuspectives sometime this month. You're welcome to suggest some changes.

Lakashtari's likeness is most similar to Kate Beckinsale's (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000295/).

Lakashtari was born in 975 Y.K. in a small hamlet known as Stillstone Holt. Her mother, Akavitari, passed on Tari’s Quori Link to her. Lakashtari grew up during the Last War, when Stormhome was a hotbed of intrigue and espionage.

Lakashtari’s father, Achraroth, was a shadowblade and her mother still is a silvertongue. Achraroth and Akavitari both were Shadow Watchers; they fought to preserve the present from the Dreaming Dark and the Lords of Dust. Both her parents were born when Stillstone Holt was founded in 942 Y.K. And they fought for a better world. Achraroth eventually joined the Atavists and Akavitari became a Quori Nightmare. To protect their child from the horrors of the Dreaming Dark, they had her raised in the Tari Enclave in Stillstone Holt without knowledge of her mother’s choice.

Lakashtari grew up among the Tari lightbringers, who’d hoped that she become an artisan or a lightbringer herself. However, Lakashtari has too much of her parents in her. She grew up to be a psion and a shadow watcher. As she grew up, she met Lanharath and his younger brother, Halharath when Lan was twenty and Hal was six. As they grew up, she fell in love with Hal. When Lan eventually joined the Atavists and the Shadow Watchers, Hal joined the Soulknife Academy in Stillstone Holt.
However, when she turned 19 and Hal turned twenty, everything turned upside down for her. While training as a silvertongue, Stillstone Holt was attacked by unknown agents of the Order of the Emerald Claw. She was forced to leave Hal’s side as Hal and his three companions valiantly battled the Knights of the Emerald Claw. The agents then set fire to the community storehouse and the soulknife academy. And Hal and his companions disappeared.
Lakashtari, however, forged a tenuous mindlink with Halharath, and knows that he is alive — in Karrnath somewhere. She is determined to search for him, free him, and return him to his people and his family. She is also determined to be reunited with him.

Personality: Lakashtari is extroverted.

Quirenthan bears a strong resemblance to Johnny Depp, only without the glasses (http://www.imdb.com/find?s=all&q=Johnny+Depp).

Quirenthan is a Kalashtar orphan, the product of a liason between his half-elf mother and his Kalashtar father. Raised in Aundair during the Last War, Quirenthan joined the Aundairese Army as a matter of patriotism. Trained as a Psychic Warrior, Quirenthan lived through three major campaigns against Breland, Thrane, and Cyre.

Quirenthan managed to be promoted to Lieutenant in the Aundairese Army, serving Queen and Country. However, his final battle in the Army was also his army’s last. It was during the dreaded Day of Mourning that the Mourning overtook Cyre. His army was lost, his commanders slain, and he lost all memory except for snippets of who he was and flashes of war.

Quirenthan was rescued by Alyssa, a young Thranish woman when he wandered far from the battlefield. She managed to nurse him back to health. Although his race’s inability to dream had not allowed him to relive the horrors of the Last War, the flashes of memory that Quirenthan had taken a toll on his personality. Quirenthan became somewhat reserved and callous. However, he did fall in love with Alyssa and he did take her for his wife. Eventually, he felt drawn to Stillstone Holt (because he carried the line of Harath) and he took his young Thranish wife with him. It was then that he learned about his heritage and that a “brother,” Hal, was lost. Leaving his young wife in Stillstone Holt, Quirenthan joined Lakashtari to find her love and to find a place in post war Khorvaire.

Personality: Quirenthan is introverted.

Nigel favors Daniel Craig's likeness when going about like a male human (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0185819/).

Nigel is one of the few Changelings that reside in Stillstone Holt, and one of the few Changelings that have found acceptance there. Nigel was born in Stillstone Holt to two Changeling Parents. And he had quite a colorful childhood.

He spent many a day playing “I’m you!” with Halharath and his changeling buddy, Seth; and the girls. At age six, however, he displayed aptitude for magic which caught the eye of Master Tyndale d’Lyrandar, who took it upon himself to take the boy as his apprentice.

Tyndale, unlike others of his kind, did not study Air Elementalism, but studied arcane magic in the form of Wizard magic. Tyndale taught his young apprentice philosophy. This knowledge included the physical and metaphysical; mathematics, the Pythagorean Theorem, and other aspects of physics and magic.

Despite Nigel’s childlike behavior, Nigel was eager to learn all that Master d’Lyrandar had to teach him. Nigel learned how to cast the cantrips and the magic spells that Master d’Lyrandar had passed down to him. Finally, at the age of Twenty-two, Nigel was ready to graduate from his Master’s studies and make his own way in the World.
However, on the fateful day, when his friends Halharath and Seth disappeared, Nigel saw the Knights of the Emerald Claw burn down the community storehouse. Feeling distraught at the destruction of the town’s food storage, he vowed to make a stand against the Knights of the Emerald Claw and now will not rest until they pay for what they’ve done to the storehouse. Nigel is what is known as a becomer among changelings.

Éadaoin ir’Tramtrist bears a strong resemblance to Sarah Michelle Geller (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001264/), especially when she was in Buffy the Vampire Slayer T.V. series.

Éadaoin is famous to be the only Lady to stare down both Queen Aurala of Aundair and the matron of House Lyrandar, twice! Éadaoin was born in 972 Y.K. to a noble family of Aundair. The Tramtrists to be exact.

As the Eldest daughter, Éadaoin is the heir to the family name and title. Thus, she grew up to be primed to be a Lady Knight. When the Young Aurala took the Throne of Aundair, Éadaoin, then around nine or ten years old met her and she immediately charmed the queen. Four years later, Éadaoin managed to stare her down in her own throne in an informal staring contest. She would do it again at her own knighting. Aurala would not stand for it, if she wasn’t so charmed by the girl’s beauty and confidence (Queen Aurala is her secret admirer). During the war, however, everything changed. Thranish Crusaders invaded Aundair in 988 Y.K., and headed to her family’s lands.

Her mother had her taken away to safety to Passage as the Thranish Crusaders invaded her family home at Tower Valiant. Then she was borne to Fairhaven by Lightning Rail. She would never see her family again as Aundairese War Mages and Warforged entered into battle. To this day, she doesn’t know if her parents are alive or dead. She completed her Knightly training in Fairhaven; and trained a little as a Lady-in-Waiting.
In 990 Y.K. she finally received her Title as Lady of Castle Valiant, but she successfully stared down the Queen again.

To punish her for this slight, Queen Aurala sent the Lady Éadaoin to Stillstone Holt to be the Crown’s Liaison with the Kalashtar there. There, she successfully stared down the matron of House Lyrandar twice, representing the Queen. Éadaoin has proved successfully that she is not a Lady to be trifled with! With a new Liaison on the way, however, Lady Éadaoin is craving to investigate her family’s history and the fate of her father and mother.

Defender bears a resemblance to this guy (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/roe_char/P_warffight.jpg).

Defender is Éadaoin’s loyal bodyguard. Defender was created in the Aundair Creation Forges, and was commissioned by Éadaoin’s family for that very purpose. Defender is very loyal to the Tramtrist family and shows that loyalty by defending Éadaoin. He goes where ever Éadaoin goes. As such, he didn’t see much action during the Last War.

An Imposing figure, Defender is six feet four inches tall and is covered in Mithril (Titanium Steel). He has an intimidating appearance. He is also trained to be exceedingly loyal to his Lady and acts as her squire. Although no true friendships have been made between the two, Defender follows her wherever she goes, guarding Éadaoin from harm and happenstance.

Glîrwen looks an awful lot like Naga the Serpent (http://www.purple-gizmo.com/ichiban_victory/pics/orig_naga.gif). She even dresses like her.

Glîrwen, or Vanyanarórë, is a Valenar princess; the daughter of a Valenar chieftain and mercenary. She was born on the Valenar plains before the War broke out, and thus considered to be tied to the land.

Glîrwen means “Song Maiden” and Vanyanarórë means “Fair Sunrise.” The first name is Sindarin or Elvish, while the second name is Quenya, or High Elvish. She was, perhaps, supposed to live up to these names as a Valenar princess. However her father, Shaeras Vadallia, wanted a boy.

This little fact, that her father wanted a boy, changed everything for Glîrwen. It affected her identity in several ways and she strived to live up to her father’s expectations. She learned the songs of heroes, the mighty deeds of the Ancestors and the Thousand Heroes during their epic campaigns. She trained hard with the Double Scimitar, and when she showed aptitude in magic, she studied and trained to be a Battle Sorcerer to win her father’s approval. However, her father’s attitude changed when her mother gave birth to a son— Haryonmacari Vadallia (which means “Prince of Swordsmen”)—Shaeras started paying attention to his daughter’s feminine qualities. However, it was too late, Glîrwen became tomboyish in her quest to please her father.

When the Last War broke out, Shaeras Vadallia sold out his tribe’s interests to Cyre, and then moved his entire people to what would become Valenar. As a people, Glîrwen’s tribe battled well and fought against Karrnathi, Hobgoblins, and the three other Nations on the side of the Cyrean armies. It was during this time that Glîrwen formed an incredible sense of self confidence, even bordering on overweening pride in her people and her abilities.

But everything changed for Glîrwen fifty years into the war when an army of Karrnathi Undead attacked and slaughtered many Valenar warriors and took many Valenar elves into captivity — including her mother, Vanessë Vadallia. It was at that time that Shaeras declared that their people became tied to the land by blood and declared Valenar to be theirs. Shaeras’ tribe took the Valenar plain from Cyre and broke many of their ties to Aerenal. Throughout the rest of the Last War, the Valenar elves fought against Cyrean Warforged armies, Karrnathi Undead, Talenta dino-riders, and Hobgoblin warriors.

Fifty years after Valenar became a nation, Glîrwen completed her studies. She then took something of her mother’s (no one dared to tell her to her face that it was actually lingerie), grabbed her sword, and hired out her talents for war for hire. As a mercenary, she traveled far and wide, reaching Stillstone Holt; where she is currently looking for work.
Spells Known (Spellcasting Bonus: +1; Spell Points: 4/day; Slots per Level: 4): Cure Light Wounds (Casting DC 20, 1), Eagle’s Splendor (Casting DC 26, 1), Magic Missile (Casting DC 20, 1), Magic Weapon (Casting DC 22, 1).
