Okay, I can't get this band of brothers out of my head: John "Hannibal" Smith, Face, B.A. Barakus, and Howling Mad Murdock.

The A-Team can be a good inspiration for Eberron, you have a band of brothers running around righting wrongs and injustices across Khorvaire. A mixed team from Cyre, put into "jail for a crime they did not commit" during the Last War, can work out for four characters of the all-male persuasion (non-PC, but most gaming groups are not PC anyway).

Here's a challenge, create your own "A-Team" around the Band of Brothers idea for Eberron. Or band of Sisters, or a mix. So, create four different characters. Only thing banding them together is that they "are accused of a crime they did not commit" during the Last War. I'm expecting their backgrounds to be wildly different.

..And who's not going to make BA be a Warforged Barbarian/Fighter/Warforged Juggernaut? ;) Although I suppose you could go with the shifter style...

Murdoch as a house excoriate of either Orien or Lyrandar... if you're going to keep the "flying" aspect more..then definitely Lyrandar..

Faceman.. hmm, I'd be half tempted to go Zilargo gnome style..but to keep it to the Last War I'd guess better to go with a Changeling. Stack up the rogue/bard mix maybe, or even consider a few levels in Beguiler.

Hannibal would be the interesting one.. I'd say keep him human (although the image of a Talenta halfling astride a clawfoot, chomping on a cigar and muttering about "I love it when a plan comes together".....)
Some fighter levels, but definitely needs plenty of Rogue/Bard for the skills..

But I'm not sure having them Cyran would be the best idea.. Part of it was having their own military as the ones after them, and the possibility of sorting out who was actually the corrupt force behind their false arrest and imprisonment. If they happen to be Cyrans.. the military after them is going to be one of the other nations, and that loses some of the... emotional kick? Or changes it into more of a nationalistic vendetta.

If it's their own side that was after them, they just wanted to escape and cause some embarassment, going out of their way not to actually "harm" the boys just following orders and not knowing about the true situation.

Actually, in the T.V. Show, BA was the resourceful one. So a BA derivative should have some Artificer levels. Aundair would work, actually. Oops, I've got a photoshop class to get to . . .
