Agreeably one of the first characters I wanted to draw up after reading the ECS for the first time.

And I did, I did. Long hair full of feathers and beads, Tangat at the ready, A Paladin who wears light armour of all things. And a Clawfoot with Powerful Charge.

Useless in town. No real capacity for dealing with NPC's. Only had enough skillpoints for his ride skill.

He was a fun character regardless.

But he wasn't a great character. The only Back story I could come up with was, he was born in the wilds and felt compelled to bring his vision of good and right into the world at large.

Anyone else have fun with one of these? Or can think of a better back story?

Well I had a think about it, but it probably requires that the characte be a bit more introspective than I'm seeing.

Basically, I would have him as a tribesman inspired in a vision by the wisdom spirit Arrian (Yes, Aureon) to discover the secret of the tumbleweed.

To do he determined that he would have to be as the tumbleweed, and go wherever the wind took him; hopefully learning the secret by the time the wind stopped.

An idea - While hunting, your character strayed far from his/her tribe's normal territory, lost in a powerful storm. He found himself being hunted by a powerful and unnatural predator (your choice!), and was saved by mysterious defenders. He was lost to a fever for days, and awoke in the ancient ruined city of Krezent - his defenders were the Shulassakar! Nursing him to health, the Shulassakar taught him/her of the Silver Flame, and he started hearing/feeling its' presence within him. He returned to his tribe and taught them of the Flame, but felt a deeper need, to pass on his faith more broadly!

You can rarely go wrong with fever dreams, visions, divine voices speaking to you.
