| Drag0nUL08-20-07, 05:58 AM | Hi. In a future Eberron campaign I am thinking about playing a character (fighter 1/wizard 5/knight phantom 10/eldritch knight 4 if i get to level 20) that I want to be a member of the Knights Arcane. So I started looking for more info about the Knights Arcane (both me and the DM want this to be an associations with some game effect, not just an entry in the character's background). Still, apart from a paragraph in Forge of War and some bits of info in the Five Nations I have found nothing. I would be really grateful if somebody could point me to where I could find more info about them (if there is more info, of course). |

But what about non-official ones? Is there anyone that has done anything about the Knights Arcane for his/her campaign and would be willing to share? |

As such, they weren't necessarily "Knights", but a conglomeration of different arcane classes (many of which are definitely Gish), which were simply Knighted by the Queen. Thus, you could be a straight Wizard or Sorceror or Duskblade or a multi-classed arcane character. You've also got the Knight Phantoms to draw from in the 5N. |

Are they an elite combat unit, like the Brelish Redcloak Battalion, or more of a Special Forces unit, like the King's Citadel? How does one become a member of the Knights Arcane? What are the typical missions undertaken by the order? How are the Knights Arcane seen in the Aundairian society ? etc. Thanks for your help nonetheless. |

Well the Knights Arcane as a whole seem to be a "Special Forces" organisation, while the Knight Phantoms, which are a part of the KA, definitely are an elite combat unit. |
