The Last War [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-13-07, 12:56 AM I'm running a play by post game soon that's set during the closing days of the last war, about a year before the Day of Mourning.

What I'm looking for is information on the alliances, battles and grudges between the five nations. Who allied with who? When and where were the most pivotal battles? Who fought the most? I plan on making most of this stuff up, but a guide would be a great help. I have a lot of Eberron books, but I don't know which ones would have this sort of thing, if any.

It lacks feats or prestiege classes (which would make the book the best book ev0r, in my opinion), it doesn't give tactical analysis of battles (only the overarching strategic flow of the Last War), and the bit on warforged is somewhat vague (in terms of price; it gives a huge, yet unspecific, range), but it's definitely worth reading, if only to get an idea of the military capabilities of Khorvaire, and how the nations would react to each other.

Or if you're planning on an Aundarian thrust towards Thaliost.
