The D&D Iconic Characters are in Eberron as well? That is the statement that a recent Dragonshards article makes, at least. The Moving Tower (http://wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/cw/20070423a) starts with the iconic Dwarf With An Axe talking to Mialee.

I am curious if this is standard procedure. Did Eberron get its own set of iconic characters? I would expect the Warforged would need a representative.

I'm also curious about the water tank mentioned in the article. Is it rainwater that's collected periodically? Might be an interesting adventure to try and bind a water elemental into it so you can still wash the stables during drought season--or deal with the myriad tiny skirmishes between the heated floors and the bathtub!

The classic D&D iconics can exist in Eberron, but probably with a little alteration.

And Eberron's Iconics are listed in the "Classes" chapter of the Eberron Campaign Setting, though mostly we see Thorndred the Dwarf Artificer, Azm the Warforged Fighter (He even made the cover of the ECS), Sarav the somewhat questionable Elf Ranger and Baristi the unoptimised Shifter Wizard.

Though the Dreaming Dark quartet (Daine, Lei, Pierce and Jode) are developing into semi-iconics.

Don't forget Tam the changeling rogue... she's in her favorite female human guise on the cover of Secrets of Sarlona, Sharn: City of Towers, and Explorer's Handbook....

That makes sense. My confusion has been reconciled.

Maybe it's a buncha changelings? Everyone else uses the iconcs...
