GothamGamemaster 02-19-07, 02:29 PM	Kudos to all of my Blackwheel players at DDXP! I ran several tables through The Trouble With Pirates and had a blast every time. "Best of Con" goes to the players of Cog the warforged fighter, Saphira the gnome warmage, Sularius the elven swasbuckler, and Siggy the hafling rogue---their antics and teamwork were highly entertaining and exactly the reason why judging is rewarding. They made DDXP a fantastic con right up to the last event. A special shout-out goes to Brian Mackey for his superb marshaling skills and for writing "Pirates"--it's a thoroughly unique and cinematic experience that no Eberron fan should miss. Finally, thanks to my fellow judges, Les and Blaze, who helped make the con great! -Peter Girvan
MysticRhythms 02-19-07, 04:34 PM	I must concur that "Pirates" was one of the most fun mods I had played in a while. To-date, the Blackwheel Company mods had been my least favpurite (probably moreso because I just didnt' have a true feel for my own character yet and because I had my two Blackwheel mods judged by LG judges who would have rather been doing something else at the time). Blackwheel 4 was a total blast to play and I look forward to more excellent writing and judging like what I experienced at DDXP.
PrinceOfBoredom 02-22-07, 07:17 AM	Thanks Peter, it was definately a good way to end up the con (I was playing Sularius). That was perhaps the most effective use of a Warmage, as well as flanking I've ever been a part of. I was surprised with how well we did with only a 4 person table. And don't sell yourself short, it was your great DMing, as well as a great mod, that allowed us to fully immerse ourselves into the game. Thanks again. On another note, Mystic, I think I played the Cabal adventure with you; I was the Half-Orc Druid summoning spider swarms all over the place, "uhm, we're looking for a ball with a picture of a mask on it..."
