| Errean10-05-06, 09:09 AM | I was planning on attending Gen Con Sol Cal this year, Nov. 16 thru 19, in Anahiem, CA. I was just wondering if there was going to be anyone else going that frequents the message boards. I was hoping to get an idea of characters that were going to be there to get a feel for possible party make ups. Hey, maybe we'll even set up something like a True Dungeon team from the forums. Also, I was wondering if the Factionmaster was going to be attending and if he was going to be running/organizing any of the adventures at the convention. I might want to have a drink with you if you are and pick your brain about the campaign. |

(My home/retail group has a dm for every faction, so the only ones that nobody has agreed to eat yet are the expedition mods.) I'll be doing the Greyhawk special in the evening, but my afternoon is free. I'm considering True Dungeon, but it is pricey. Other things i plan to spend much time on: doing the Xen'drik delve to try to get the promo campaign cards, and doing demos of the various game systems. (Hopefully wizards will have another oversized d20 to roll to grab another hardcover book; i got my Eberron book that way at Gencon Indy '04.) For people in the know, if for some reason i wanted to aquire most/all of the campaign cards, how many 20 minute runs through would I need to do? |

IIRC, the max glyphstones you could get in any one trip was 5 or 6, and each promo card cost between 5 and 20 glyphstones. So for all of them, I'd say you're looking at a minimum of 10 runs. |
