| Cromag08-27-06, 04:32 PM | I know that Half orcs are specicically allowed the mark of finding; but do they have access to the marks normally allowed to humans? I ask because under half elves it specifically states that they are not always born from Half-elf &Half-elf unions, and because of that they have access to human and elf draginmarks as well. With the same idea in mind a human and orc can mate and should have access to the human dragonmarks as well, but it is not stated. I ask because I would like to have a Half-orc who grewup as part of an indiscretion from House Deneith and an orcish mother that has the mark of the sentinel as proof. however I don't know if this is allowable by the rules. |

You have to be the correct race to get the dragonmark itself, period, finding expressly says you can be half-orc or human to ge the mark the reference to half-elves being found among the other Dragonmark houses is that they have a blood relationship to the house, but the mark itself still cannot manifest because they aren't the correct race So a half orc could be a blood member of house deneith, but wouldn't be eligible to be especially favoured (i.e. no favoured in house) and wouldn't manifest the mark |
