| DorsetDas10-04-06, 05:16 AM | OK need some quick help. Am off to a con this weekend and found it mainly going to be living. DOnt get top enough Cons to make playing Living worth while normally but saw the new Xen'Drik one and thought, "that sounds fun" haven't got a lot of time to create but didn't want to play a pre-gen. So am looking ar Swashbuckler for a bit of fun and see how it goes. One or two generation questions that I couldn't find. 1 Starting GP for my Character? 2 It says in BWC we get a 50 x the charcterm level GP bonus. What's this mean? 3 How do I use item packs? or even get them. Sorry if this all to simple just not had time to read it because of work and may not before I go to Con, will create on the way in the car with my mate. Cheers in advance for the help! Das |

Between the CS document and the various threads on the BWC section of the boards here, your questions should be answered. Xen'drik Expeditions homepage (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ebxe/welcome) 50x Character Level GP means that new 1st level characters in the Blackwheel Company get 50 gp over the base amount for their class as listed in the Campaign Standards. Also, certain factions unlock certain races and classes (ex. Marshal, Warmage, gnoll race for Blackwheel) so you don't need a creation card for them. I'm not sure about Swashbuckler... I think you need a card for that one. Welcome to Blackwheel - have fun. Best, Nick |

Das Swashbuckler requires the "Off the Beaten Path" campaign card from Mark of Heroes, and it cost you three action points to use. New campaign standards are comming soon which may affect this, but if your con is this weekend, that is how it stands right now. |
| DorsetDas10-04-06, 07:34 AM | Oh bugger no Swashbuckler for me as I dont have any cards so cant play it shame. Das Give it a week and you may not. ;) Seriously, I wouldn't give up hope on the sans-campaign-card swashbuckler just yet. Just hold out a week or so for the new Campaign Standards. |
| DorsetDas10-04-06, 03:41 PM | well in 3 days I be at the con and then it be too late, not sure when I play again. So it have to be a rogue!!! With all skills going to a swashbuckler till i can find a way out! Das |
| Errean10-05-06, 08:49 AM | From my reading of the CS document, you should be able to play a swashbuckler but that would take up your first expansion slot. That is my understanding of it, but I would look over the document again. Kiddoc is the one that will correct me or not here, I think. |
| arscott10-05-06, 12:48 PM | According to the current version of the CS, you may not unlock base classes (such as swashbuckler) with expansion slots. You need campaign cards or other documentation (such as them being unlocked by faction choice). |

| JJeff10-06-06, 02:19 AM | Which is about to change, very shortly... :D Wow.... That would be a major change and some people may actually kill their characters off just to use that ability to play the class they want. When will be know. |
