Is the warmage playable? [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-12-06, 06:32 PM Yes, I realize that it's unlocked by the Blackwheel Faction rules. However, it doesn't state that it unlocks the spells as well. That leaves a 1st level warmage with maybe 5 1st level spells that the warmage can cast. So, while you can play a warmage, it's not really "playable."

So, are the Complete Arcane spells usable by a warmage?

08-12-06, 06:57 PM unlocking a class unlocks its associated rules tiems, so yes you can cast the spells on your spell list.
your extra spells from the learning class ability don't get tyhat benefit, they'll need to be unlocked if not unlocked by the rules
