Regimental Affiliation [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-14-07, 01:00 PM So Blackwheel Company has a number of different units (Six Paths, Arclyte, etc), but how do players make their desired affiliation known? For example I have an artificer, and wish to be considered a member of the Arclyte Brigade. Is this an option for members of the company?

Everyone is pretty much assumed to be in the Six Paths Batallion. I don't see why, as a backstory, you can't be in the Arclyte Batallion, but realize that you will be doing all your adventuring with the Six Paths Batallion. You could be on loan :D

By the way, it's Arclight.... And yes, the story assumes you are in the Six Paths, under Sgt Tragar. Anything else would need to be RP/Background based and fits this.

07-15-07, 09:37 PM The campaign arc--just for the sake of parsimony--assumes that you start in the 6-Paths battalion. There's nothing that prevents any PC from being primarily "involved with" any of the other battalions. In fact, within the organization, movement is quite fluid, and teams are frequently composed of hires from several different branches.

Everyone is pretty much assumed to be in the Six Paths Batallion.
