I was wondering why a character is only able to recieve 2 certs during the Xen'drik games.

I ask because my Character was part of the Xoriat Obscura and earned access to 3 during the first faction adventure, however my GM was not able to list my character as having recieved more than 2.

Thanks for any info.

I know you are limited to 2, but I don't know why. Many adventures can get you 3 certs, so usually the DM will ask which you want. (or at least they did at GenCon)

I know that the first Cabal adventure, the DM was supposed to ask which of the 3 you qualified for you wanted.

But then, for such a hard adventure, you probably deserve them anyway.

There was a miscommunication with the first two Faction mods for all factions. The factionmasters were told you could put three story objects into an adventure, but the database guy was only told to program space for two. That means for the first two mods, while you might "earn" three certs, you can only really ever get two. I recommend you always take your obscura cert if you get one, and then one is usually more obviously a plot story object than the other (at least in the case of both CoS mods).

I also recommend always taking the cert that gives you an alliance with the Blackwheel Company. There's no telling what those crazy fools might do next. Besides, if you're going to bring about the end of the world, seems like money and gnolls might be a great way to help... :P
