I'm refering to a certain PrC which in unlocked in CoL4, which requires a certain feat from a certain book to meet the prereqs. However, that book is not opened for XE, so that feat can't be unlocked. So how can we meet the prereqs for this PrC?

Magic.

Actually I believe that the unlocking of that PrC also unlocks the prerequisites for your character to take (That would make sense to me). The book itself is not unlocked but those particular items are. I also don't believe you would need to put the feat on your expansion list.

Actually, I don't think it worked that way... Maybe if you PM-ed the Factionmaster yourself? I haven't gone to check all the pre-req for all the PrCs unlocked, but I know one of the pre-req for one of the PrCs was unlocked in the same story object..

He has contacted me privately and I have dealt with the issue.

No worries; game on!

Could you perhaps give a summary? Does unlocking a PrC unlock the prerequisites as well (particularly if they can't be taken legally in the normal way)?
