Query: Is there a time limit or number of chances on this?

i.e. A character fails a saving throw vs. poison and takes 4 points of Constitution damage. After the encounter, how often can party members use Blessing of the Light to offer an immediate new saving throw?

Until they run out of uses/action points?

Just curious . . .

Yes, effectively that is correct (until they run out of uses or action points). Of course if the second poison saving throw comes and goes, there isn't really any use for using it again as it doesn't restore the lost Con points.

It "removes the conditions caused by the disease or poison."

That doesn't apply to ability damage?

No, damage is not an ongoing condition. Conditions are things like Sicken, Fatigued, Exhausted, Entangled, Blind. All of them are key words.

That might be worth a parenthetical clarification in the next XECS, then--we also read it the other way last time the question came up. I don't have it in front of me, but I think "ongoing" is the key word we were missing to interpret it correctly. (Though explicitly stating "but not damage already suffered" would also do the job, of course.)

Fair enough. It's definitely worth a few extra words to make things clear.

Thanks for the note.
