| Mherduwynn07-15-06, 04:07 PM | It has been mentioned on another thread that the Covenant of Light does not, for the most part, provide special ranks or privileges to its members beyond what a hero of the Greater Good would normally enjoy. That said, there are several groups within the Covenant that have organized within themselves to serve some facet of Good or follow some agenda. These will all be detailed in future content posts on the Faction Page, but until then here is a sneak peek at the CoL's knightly orders: The Knights Ascendant: This order is dedicated to the Sovereign Host and its gods, with individuals serving their chosen deities in a martial capacity. The Knights Ascendant enjoy a pseudo-elevated station in Radiant Hold because the current Lord of that keep was a paladin of the Sovereign Host and still maintains strong ties to its churches. Argent Order: These crusading knights of the Church of the Silver Flame call Radiant Hold and Stormreach home while they bring their faith to the untamed wilds of Xen'drik. Though they fight under the banner of the Covenant of Light, their methods have been considered, by some, a bit extreme... The Steelmaidens: A women only knighthood founded in the name of the Lady of Light, this military group specialize in protection and defense. Some of the best bodyguards in Stormreach are counted among their number. (While the knighthood is all female, there are a number of male support personnel, including priests and rogues.) Army of the Light: A knighthood for those with no particular faith but a devotion to good in all its forms, the Army of the Light is a powerful group stationed in Radiant Hold and on call at all times by the keep's Lord and by its own unique commander, an aging warforged paladin named Paragon. Rumors abound that Paragon and the keep's Lord argue constantly over the best use of the warforged's troops but these disagreements have never been witnessed or recorded. Take care, -August |

Take care, -August Wow, that's nice. Thank you for posting that info about the Covenant. My players already started conjecturing about the inner factions (we all know they exist everywhere). I was wondering... Are those groups presented inthe Secrets of Xen'drik? I still don't have access to this book being in Brazil an all, it will come to the retailers only in late August... |
