| Garden_State_Gamer08-02-07, 11:19 AM | I'm playing a LG Knight 3/Warforged Racial Fighter 2/Juggernaut 2 named Breach. As the name implies, he's a fearless charge monkey with a warhammer and a tower shield. What do my fellow scions of the Radiant Hold play? |
| Fiery_Fighter_Drake08-02-07, 01:05 PM | Lawful Good Human Knight who goes by the name Sir Ironside. He's a defense specialist, meaning that nearly all my feats, EV and unlocks go into bringing up his defense, one way or another. So far, I have dodge, shield spec and shield ward. Going for heavy armor optimisation from Races of Stone. And I think you mean "fellow scions of Radiant Hold". |
| Marcus Majarra08-02-07, 01:10 PM | LG Raptoran Sorcerer 6 / Fire Elemental Savant 1, named Ari'athiat of the Burning Wind, soon to be enlisted into the ranks of the Sacred Exorcists and the Silver Pyromancers. He is driven by fire, wind, and all that is holy. |
| Istaran08-02-07, 01:31 PM | I've been DMing CoL so I haven't played a Lighter yet, but for PAX I plan to play a CG Daelkyr Half-Blood ex-gang-lord Rogue 2/Ranger 1/Scout 4 named Mr. Hat. He specializes in zapping things with eyebeams from the symbionts that live under his hat, as well as tripping with a polearm (ransuer I think it was). |
| Madfox1108-03-07, 04:10 AM | Restarting an old thread are we ;) I am playing a goblin cleric/church inquisitor of the Silver Flame. |
| Diablo0508-06-07, 12:03 PM | Lawful Good Human 1 Ranger/4 Paladin/1 Grey Guard/1 Justicar (enough classes there?). He's an investigator who doesnt mind blurring the rules a bit (so far we've got torture, bribery and extortion) in the name of justice. He has the Punisher mentality of, in order for justice to be effective, there must be those willing to go outside the boundaries of the law. |
| Marcus Majarra08-06-07, 01:17 PM | Lawful Good Human 1 Ranger/4 Paladin/1 Grey Guard/1 Justicar This doesn't work. You need at least three levels in a PrC before being eligible to take class levels in a PrC or standard class you do not already have. Simply put: you can't have both Grey Guard and Justiciar yet. |

| Tabiani08-06-07, 10:11 PM | I'm human, so I get to choose 2 favored classes. Ranger and Grey GuardAs a human you actually get 3. Doesn't help though; only base classes can be taken as a favored class. Full rules are on pg 9 of Campaign Standards under Multiclassing and Prestige Classes. Same rule kinda killed the idea of my Druid going Druid-3/Wizard-3/Beastmaster-1/Arcane Hierophant-X. :weep: |
| lseelba08-06-07, 11:22 PM | Tabiani is right. Prestige classes can't be a favored class, so you have to go three levels of one prestige class before you can take any other. |
| Marcia_S08-25-07, 01:28 PM | "Mouse" lawful good human female wizard, specializing in "disabling" rather than damaging spells, and her cat familiar "Cat". Her story is a somewhat sad one. She was the youngest of 11 children and her harried parents named her "Mouse" in hopes that she would be as quiet as one. Even given her quiet and peaceful demeanor, they "sold" her (apprenticed was the word they used, but there was a sum of money involved and she was not to ever return home) to an old wizard to look after him when she was about 6. He never mistreated her, but was always distant. She learned a great deal about magic and books, but his emotional neglect of her left her socially challenged. When she was about 12, the Covenant of Light rescued her from her now overly frail mentor. For the past 6 years, they have tried to pull her out of her shell, but she still prefers the library and works there researching and cataloging their many books. She always has her nose in a book, even when walking or eating. She has learned how to cast spells without using components, so she doesn't even have to look away from her book. How she keeps up with what's going on around her is a bit of a mystery to most, but Cat DOES seem to be very attentive and talkative. She recently befriended some spider people called Aranea who taught her how to be an Arachnomancer. She is quite thrilled with this training and is pursuing it with great zeal. |
| Marcia_S08-25-07, 01:31 PM | Actually, if someone has the Forgotten Realms Underdark book, I would appreciate the text of the Arachnomancer PrC. I dashed right out and bought the Drow of the Underdark book, only to find that that was NOT the correct source book. Thanks, Marcia |

Thanks, Marcia It is truly awesome that you kept the name 'Mouse' for your CoL character. I played with you in your first CoL mod (I was Trippa.) I'll PM you the Underdark PrC text. -Lou |
