However, sometimes players can get distracted with trying to make sure characters are fit to hack apart encounters (I know that this doesn't apply to all players, but bear with me here. ;) ). While crossing player action and character action is usually a bad idea that I do not condone, player action to bring a little light to the world is a little different. This is why I'm going to pick a month, say April or May, I am going to organize with my home group some sort of charity event before playing a Covenant of Light mod. I figure that after the players bring a little light to the world, it will be easier to have their characters bring a little light to the world. You're all welcome to join me. ;) Suggestions welcome. |

I would personally like to see May as the target month, but I'd request vacation time if the appropriate month was April and there was charity and D&D involved. Any ideas in ANY way that anyone can help would be greatly appreciated. Locally, I could get a book drive going for the public library if nothing else, which I have done for charity games in the past. I would much prefer "Go Plant a Tree, then Play D&D". The later idea would take some research for permits, etc. I'll work on it. ;) When everything is settled on my end, I'll post the game day well in advance here. Too bad you don't live anywhere near Reno, August. We'd love to have you. "Light, give me power!" --King Mickey, KHII |
