| andrewdrexler11-16-06, 01:29 AM | I have a question that will probably come up after the level bump in February, but not before. When a Raptoran takes the Storm talon prestige class (Page 131 Races of the Wild), he gains a bonus feat every other level. My question is this, do you have to put the bonus feats on your expansion list in order to take them since they come from a non-core source. Also, the Storm talons can gain access to magic spears at 80% of list price (page 132 RoW). I am wondering if this applies to this campaign or do I have to purchase it at full price? |

If a pclass says you get feat XXX as bonus feat, then you get automatic access to it. If it says you get a bonus feat from the list: XXX1, XXX2, YYY1, YYY2, YYY3; where the feats YYY1, YYY2, YYY3 are from the PHB or ECS then, yes, you must put XXX1 and XXX2 on your expansion list in order to take them. 2) Any class abilities work as normal unless specifically altered in the XECS; so yes. |

QUOTE] Intresting. The list of feats is from the MM (Chapter 6) and RoW, no core access in site. I will read the new XECS carefully when they come out to see if it clarifies matters, or it requires a ruling from the faction master. |
| Mherduwynn11-17-06, 12:49 PM | I'll just give you a ruling now. :) ***This ruling ONLY affects Raptorians.*** If a Raptorian recieves a bonus feat from a Raptorian-only class or prestige class and said feat comes from the MM, you may take it as a bonus feat without the need for an expansion slot. If it comes from Races of the Wild, you must spend an expansion slot to open it up. I'll add this ruling to the new CS document to clear up any confusion. -August |
| Mherduwynn11-17-06, 03:18 PM | Please see the correction above. That ruling ONLY affects Raptorians and will be noted as such in the new CS. -A |
