| lordtiberiusfoxx08-06-06, 09:47 PM | Okay, so it was previously ruled under 0.0 standards that raptorans who worship their tribal deities use their domains. Then standards 1.0 came out... and I am confused. The standards claim that a cleric may take a domain out of Spell Compendium, but only if they worship the Dragon Above. Then I found something else: the sky domain features a list of spells that aren't core. So... (here we go...) Is the sky domain available to raptoran PCs given the 1.0 standard? If so, does it require an expansion slot? If so, does that mean that the raptoran cleric substitution levels are only active by taking the air domain? If the sky domain is unlocked, are all domain spells also unlocked or do they have to be unlocked separately? I have a headache now... Tiberius Foxx |

Tiberius Foxx I really wish they'd said something aboutn the raptorian religion uin there instead of leaving it as a "see the boards" thing but hey, it's nice to see at least some of the problems with v0 answered Allowing the deity should unlock the domain as well, but I can't say for certain it shouldn't require an expansion slot if it is if the domain is available, than all it's sepllsa are available in your domain slots (this applies to ANY domain with non core spells) though to prepare it in a non-domain slot you'll need to unlock it yourself |

Tiberius Foxx If you play a raptoran cleric and worship on of your tribal deities, that deity's domains are unlocked for you without the need to expend an expansion slot. They effectively become core for you. Substitution levels still need to be unlocked as per normal, but you can get access to the Sky domain without worrying over a slot. Any domain you have access to grants you the spells within it as core spells you need not unlock... but ONLY as domain spells. If you want the non-standard spell as one of your normally prepared spells, you must unlock it as per the Campaign rules. I hope this helps, -August |

| Tyranthraxus08-15-06, 01:08 AM | Raptoran Tribal Deities? Sorry.. I must have missed a post somewhere. I was under the impression Eberron had the dieties of the Sovereign Host, the Dark Six , the Undying Court (if you can call it a God per se), Silver Flame or the Remnants of Siberys. |
