| kiddoc06-28-06, 02:46 PM | Rumor has it that the ranks of the Crimson Codex contain some of the most complex and brilliant minds in all of Eberron. They have access to the accumulated knowledge of a wealth of closely guarded secrets, gathered by the research and exploration of similarly-talented peers. Vast libraries and the fabled personal journals carried by Codex members provide them with a distinct advantage in unraveling the mysteries of the Caldyn Fragments. The fact remains: Knowledge is foresight. Foresight is Power. Some will do anything to get their hands on that knowledge. Already shadowy figures have been spotted, lurking in the darkness near Codex research facilities. Keen interest has been taken in the personal journals of some, and the explorations of others. Can knowledge be bought for the right price? Can foresight be obtained through cunning and treachery? The Crimson Codex is in possession of invaluable resources in the pursuit of the enigma that is the Caldyn Fragments. They hold a unique advantage--and others have taken note. They question is, just how far will they go to get it? |
| indel200106-28-06, 10:45 PM | To: Blackwheel Company From: #9, psiforged member of Crimson Codex RE: recent inquiries Consider me honored to have your members interested in our humble work. I considered applying for membership in the Company but my curiousity got the better of me and I ended up working for..well....y'know.... Anyway, I apologize for messing up some of those gnolls but they were positively ill-mannered. I could respect their questions but stealing those translations just wasn't cordial. Plus, I wasn't finished reading them! But I won't hold it against you. I did forward your queries to the higher ups. Can knowledge be bought for the right price? Can foresight be obtained through cunning and treachery? They brought up a good point. Knowledge is free. And the trick with foresight...well it's easy to obtain but it sure is hard to figure out. Fortunately we have some sharp minds around here and we think we've figured out...oh...well...I probably shouldn't mention it, but then you'll probably have trouble figuring it out anyway. I'll just say it sure is curious how frequently those siberius shards have been falling lately. I recommend carrying an umbrella, preferably one lined with mithral. Best wishes on your future work. Sincerely, #9 PS - Tell the gnoll that I DID find his missing arm and that I can forward it if he still needs it. |

Shawn, congrats on a great faction and great first adventure. We had the privilege of having Shawn run our table at Origins, and I can only say that it was truly incredible! I am looking forward to playing and running many more modules of the Crimson Codex! |

Thanks for the kind words. All of the players I saw, not just for my faction but for all of them, seemed very enthusiastic and were into the game. The real test of a game is the interaction between the players and the DM, and if that works, then the game works. I was lucky enough to have some great players at my tables, so THANK YOU! Shawn |
