I'm sure this problem will exist in each faction, since people will be naturally drawn to the shiny new base classes.

CC: Dragon shaman healing, while not great, should at least keep people up and relax the toll on consumable items. I don't know too much about the incarnate, but the totemist is mainly a melee character. The Crimson Glyphbook should serve to attract bards, wizards, and maybe even Clerics with the knowledge domain. Still, they'll probably be hardpressed to find rogue talents.

When the faction pages are up and running, this will come out, but here's a preview. Rogues are actually very important to the Codex. The study of the draconic Prophecy for the Codex is a means to an end, and that end is re-establishment of the Kingdom of Galifar (or at least a continuing peace between the current nations of Khorvaire). With that in mind, there is going to be a strong "spy and international intrigue" thread running through many of the adventures. Think of central Europe just after WWII, when no one is sure what the new world order is going to look like, and many nations place intelligence operatives wherever they can. Xen'drik is a place where many of the nations (and other power groups) are swarming to find some bit of power to tip the scales in their favor. The Crimson Codex is the group that is trying to make sure that no single entity finds anything that will tip the balance and lead to another war.

Exactly my thinking when I created my Rogue to play CC at Origins. "hm, all these knowledge types wanting to get all this info? Somebody has to go steal, er, acquire it for them."

I was thinking about doing something more along the lines of a Changling Rogue (with the substitution levels), possibly leading into Cabinet Trickester, or maybe Spymaster. More of an infiltration type, blending in and getting the knowledge/information right out from under their nose as I am schmoozing them. Pretty knowledgeable myself too with the same desires as the Crimson Codex.

Sounds like a really fun faction you got here Shawn. I look forward to playing.
