Will the Xen'drik finale (faction and expedition) be premiering at Origins?

02-19-08, 03:17 PM Will there be a final level bump before the finale(s)? Or will we have characters ranging all the way from 10 on up to whatever people can pull off (13+ if you start now I imagine, higher for those that are above the curve already)

I find level 15 highly dubious. I've played every module I could with my Codex character, and I managed to hit 13. By the time the finale drops by, I may very well reach 16, however.

So far, for me:

First Arc: 1-4
Second Arc: 4-9
Third Arc: 9-13

02-20-08, 12:38 PM I wasn't going to ask this until after the FMs (and attendees) were done with DDXP, but since the topic has come up...

I'd like to put in a request to make a strong push to get the upcoming adventures in to HQ as early as possible.

At each level bump, there has been a frantic rush in the month or two before the deadline to get all the games in. The frustrating part is that this is after several months with just a few games to play. (For instance, there were 9 games that came out at GenCon in Aug, then another 19 that came out in late Nov--just before the holidays!)

I know that my group had to skip some of the mods we wanted to play outright, and some of the members missed games because we only had the time to run them once.

I know that the FMs have little control over when the mods are posted to the website, but if the games get in early, we might be able to have a less frantic month before Origins.

As I said, I'm not trying to push any FMs or mod authors over the edge as they prepare for DDXP, but, since it came up, I'd like to start getting ready for the next release of games early (when we can do something about it).

Well there will be a DM's Mark the faction mod that premiers at Origins (though as usual we probably won't actually run that DM's Mark at Origins and it will just be released simultaineously with the faction mod). There will not be any more mods after Origins.

Will the Origins mods be active for local play for a while or will there be a rush to finish them before GenCon and the release of Living Forgotten Realms?

04-19-08, 11:25 PM With just shy of 2 months before Origins will there be the 2 to 3 sets of adventrues before the finale? Even just 16 games is a lot to play in the approx. 58 day period from now until the blackout for the level bump.
