People in the Know,

Is there any way we can get approximate release times for the upcoming games? I know that my gaming group struggled during the summer to get the games played before the deadline, and we had to make some hard decisions about what to play and what to miss.

This is even more important as more and more local conventions start running the games. If we knew approximately when the games would come out, then those of us who run them at small local cons could plan better what games could be run.

Now, don't get me wrong; I'm not asking for the impossible. I understand that no timing is definite, and that no matter what happens, a bunch of people will complain.

I'm just asking for general data. My current assumptions are:

I feel certain about these:
-there will be a level bump for DDXP in early Feb.
-there will be a black out period in late Jan.
-there will be a 2nd set of 4 faction adventures, 4 dm's marks, and an expedition
-the last two parts of Eyes of the Lich Queen have been submitted to HQ

I'm not so sure about these:
-the 2nd set of mods have been submitted, and should be posted in 2-3 weeks
-the last two parts of EotLQ should be posted as soon as HQ is able

I know you guys are busy trying to get fastplays and dispel confusions posted, but I just hope you can give us a glimmer of info so we can make plans in advance.

Thanks.

Steven

I'm interested in knowing if there are anymore going to be out shortly. I'm thinking about running some at a local con to try and get some interest built up in XE. I'd like to run Cores because they don't have the restriction of making everyone have the same faction. However I see only one core and one non-DM mark in each faction area. The Caon is the first weekend of November.

Part of the flavor of Eberron lies with the existence of power groups and factions like the Cabal, Covenant, and the the rest.

I don't feel that we'll be seeing much more in the way of all-inclusive adventures - at least for Xen'drik Expeditions. The typical sweep looks like 1 faction adventure, 1 DM's mark per faction, and then 1 all-inclusive.

You can always run other printed adventures (or homebrew) but these generally have fewer RPGA-related rewards and points.

I didn't realize that. I started running them back in June or earlier and there were always at least 4 faction and 2 core every time I went to sign up a game.

You could always run Eyes of the Lich Queen or something similar - it's multi-part and most definitely not faction specific. Heck, adapt Undermountain Adventures or any of the other Expeditions. :)

Thanks for the idea!

Usually between each level bump there have been 2 sets of Faction Mods, 2 sets of DM's Marks and 1-2 Expeditions.
