Can't retire my character [Archive] - Wizards Community

For several weeks I've been trying to delete my Crimson Codex character, so that I can register my new one. I have hit 'retire character' several times, but it never seems to do anything. This is a bit of a problem, because I have played a mod with my new character, and I need to get him registered before the DM reports the mod and gives credit to the old character.

Is this process supposed to be instantaneous, or does it have to be manually entered by someone with RPGA? Anyone I can contact?

I'm pretty sure it's meant to be instantaneous, but there were problems early on and perhaps they're reoccuring.

I'd file an appeal (via the 'Update your membership' link on the RPGA members' screen), ignoring the irrelevant bits and perhaps using the date/details of the event you've just played if those are required) and also PM Wotc_Tulach - that seems to be the most efficient way of getting in touch with the RPGA at present.

Send a Private Message to WotC_Tulach. He is THE MAN now at the RPGA, and he can check into these things better than anyone else.

I filed an appeal over a month ago for the same issue (after being directed to do so via WoTC customer service) and my character is still there.

In fact, I had to play a mission with the wrong character info, so now I have certs I don't want to lose, so I'm just playing it wrong. ~shrug

Personally, I'd skip the middle-man and go with Sean's suggestion of PMing WOTC_Tulach. :)

I sent a PM to Wotc_Tulach with the same problem. Did he fix it for anyone else? How long did it take?
