| Peter_Seckler03-29-07, 03:54 PM | That's right. Sexy XE DM's marks. Hot and fresh, for March. And they are ONLINE. So you have no excuse for missing out! I will be running three of them (Cabal of Shadows, Blackwheel Company, and my beloved Crimson Codex) online. Why does the Covenant get no love? I dunno. Maybe I'll write a Covenant one too. That Couatl thingy sounded cool. I will be using FantasyGrounds. I had a fairly good experience with it about a month ago, although I think it ran just a bit too long. Since I get to actually write this module rather than run one, I want it to be cool, have a lot of roleplaying, some great challenges, some brutal battles, and all wrapped up in the space of 4 hours. I have most of the Cabal one finished already. So. When - FantasyGrounds users-- what day and time is good for you? |
| taylorj03-29-07, 05:22 PM | When - FantasyGrounds users-- what day and time is good for you? Mutter mutter... Accursed FantasyGrounds! Why must you torment me so! I might get my hands on a copy if you were to run this on a weekend (Fri-Sun) night Eastern. |
| ajpopp03-29-07, 10:33 PM | I was part of that group last time. Count me in for any adventures you run! I'm in the Eastern U.S. time zone and can play Tuesday through Thursday week nights, most Saturday afternoons or evenings, most Sunday afternoons or evenings. That's in general. In specific, I could play this Saturday evening or probably Sunday evening. After that, it's on a weekly basis. I really want to play BWC and CC! Al |
| pedr03-30-07, 08:02 AM | I'd get FG if something was scheduled at UK-friendly times :) |
| Jpasimio03-30-07, 11:43 AM | Sweet! I'm a high school teacher who is on spring break until 4/9. If you can do something fairly Pacific-Time-Zone friendly, I'm in. Oh. It's on. It's on like the for Soviet Republic of Azur-Bijan. |
| Harliquinn03-30-07, 06:22 PM | I am interested in a Fantasy Grounds-run DM's Mark for any faction! Let me know. I am available almost any week night after 5-6pm EDT, Sunday evenings as well. |
| Peter_Seckler03-30-07, 10:03 PM | Ok, Here's my plan. That dates that are good for me right now are Saturday evenings. I'm going to check on Sunday days as well. So actually here's the first date I'll put out: Saturday, April 14th, starting at 6:30 PM EST. Cabal of Shadows DM's Mark. I need at least 4! |

I can probably make that, if that's the best time for you. My tiefling rogue needs more things to stab. Stabby stabby stabby stab... |

So actually here's the first date I'll put out: Saturday, April 14th, starting at 6:30 PM EST. Cabal of Shadows DM's Mark. I need at least 4! I already have things scheduled that Saturday and the following one, but I think most other days could work out. I only have a BWC character at the moment, so I'd have to stat out CoS, CC, and CoL characters for those possibilities. |
| Jpasimio03-31-07, 11:54 AM | 6:30 EST. That would be 3:30 PST, right? Let me renagulate some stuff, I can probably make it. I would still get to use any CoS stuff that I have acquired in past adventures, right? |
| PrinceOfBoredom03-31-07, 03:42 PM | hmm, well, that's a 12:30 am start for me (in Germany), but I should be able to caffeinate myself through it... |

I would still get to use any CoS stuff that I have acquired in past adventures, right? You get to use your EV worth of equipment, and any story-awards that give you benefits, yes! I am going to update my announcement. I'm going to try and set a date up for 4/7 as well. (Thats ONE WEEK AWAY, so if we don't get at least 4 people, it won't go off as planned...) | Peter_Seckler03-31-07, 05:22 PM | I shall repost the official announcement, but basically here it is: Seal of Kaberon (Cabal of Shadows DM's Mark 4) For an average party level of 4 or 5... Synopsis: A new recruit claims to know the location of the forgotten seal of an ancient spirit vestige with ties to the Prophecy. Getting an accurate copy of the seal- and destroying the original-- would certainly put the Cabal ahead of it's rivals... ...Of course, some things stay forgotten for a reason. Place: Online! Using FantasyGrounds. (Feel free to visit the FantasyGrounds website for more info about that). 04/07/2007 - Saturday 6:00 PM EST 04/14/2007 - Saturday 6:30 PM EST Private Message or Email me for more details: pseckler13@msn.com |
| Harliquinn03-31-07, 06:05 PM | I should be able to play. Are you playing the same DM's Mark on both days? |
| Peter_Seckler03-31-07, 07:30 PM | For right now, it will be the same DM's mark on both dates. I have only finished writing my Cabal of Shadows Dm's Mark, but I am going to write one of each and run all of them. I hope. :) |
| Mherduwynn03-31-07, 07:59 PM | No worries about not including a DM's Mark for us. We at the Covenant of Light have long since learned that we benefit from quality, not quantity. :) -A |
| Peter_Seckler04-01-07, 08:09 AM | Man, what a burn! Well, I *WAS* going to do a Covenant of Light adventure involving a Lillend. Now August hurt my feelings!!!! :) |
| PrinceOfBoredom04-01-07, 05:12 PM | ooh, the 7th is actually better for me. Sign me up! |
| Jpasimio04-01-07, 05:39 PM | Are you planning on incorporating extra stuff for those belonging to an obscura? Also, have you scheduled the game on the FG calendar yet, I can't find it to sign up. |
| Peter_Seckler04-01-07, 07:46 PM | Ah, on oversight on my part! http://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/index.xcp?id=157 Sign up there! Now I've got to get back to work on writing my Magnum Opus, Covenant of Light DM's Mark 4-- "the Covenant of Light Puts on a Broadway Show" |

| lordtiberiusfoxx04-01-07, 07:53 PM | You forgot the two words at the end: "In Drag" Shawn (always looking to be helpful) Dude, I would so play in that game and show off my nonexistant singing voice, as well as how my furry legs look in a poodle skirt!:cheer: My question is, should the balor wear a strapless evening dress for his encounter? |
| taylorj04-01-07, 08:41 PM | Now I've got to get back to work on writing my Magnum Opus, Covenant of Light DM's Mark 4-- "the Covenant of Light Puts on a Broadway Show" Covenant of Light... the Musical! |
| Peter_Seckler04-01-07, 09:26 PM | You know, I'm just giddy enough from April Fools day to .. No! No! What am I saying?! Seriously, I think I am writing the Covenant one next. August has shamed me. Ok. On Obscura missions... The short answer is yes. I'm trying to tighten that part up a bit, because I wanted a way for people to accomplish their missions without necessarily keeping the other Obscurants from accomplishing their own thing. (Although that may be the whole point of the different Obscura). I had a lot of fun roleplaying out the Obscura NPCs last time I ran Cabal of Shadows (Fire in the Heart of Madness). Normally, you just pass out some secret notes, but roleplaying them out was a lot of fun and kinda developed those a bit for me. |

I don't see anything wrong with Obscura missions being in opposition to each other as long as it works in the context of the mod and isn't just conflict for no good reason. Trying to get away with something under everyone's noses is part of the fun of being in a secret society... |
| Mherduwynn04-03-07, 11:36 AM | *shudders* Lady Lirashana the Justice Archon and Lord Corvalis in the off-Sharn production of Victor, Victoria. "I really don't think anyone will believe you're a man, Vicky." "Sure they will! I can even think of a way to use this sword in the disguise." *is now blind* -A |
