Daddy Warcrimes 08-12-07, 08:02 PM	Ok, Haven't played Xendrik since last years Gen Con Indy, so Niw I have a question in updating my character as he is semi-illegal now. The Campaign standards say if you channel the dragon above you can take one domain from the spell compendium and one from the short list of Good Air protection and sun. This seems to take no expansion slots. Can I then use 2 of my expansion slots to open a domain from the PHB and take that instead of one from the short list?
Skerrit 08-13-07, 09:01 AM	Nope. An expansion list could let you take any domain from any source in place of your Spell Compendium domain, not your instead of a PHB domain from the short list. See bottom of page 12 in the XECS.
JBeauMI 08-15-07, 08:14 AM	I am building a new character for XE and want to understand the options. Please confirm or correct. A cleric of Aureon can choose from the short list of domains (knowledge, law and magic) for zero expansion slots. Alternatively, a cleric of Auron can take one domain from the short list and spend two expansion slots/items to select a second domain for Aureon from the Faith of Eberron. Spending the expansion slots to extended the domain choices prevents you from spending two expansion slots on the Healing Package.
