First question is about CoH. I noticed this on the progression sheet. Is this number how much cash my character has on hand at any given time? In other words, am I supposed to spend every bit of starting equipment cash, and then this number is how much I have on hand at the start of my first adventure?

Then there's the bonuses. My base, of course, is 2 (level 1 x 2). My CHA modifier, I assume, is simply my stat modifier (-1). Ranks modifier applies to either Craft or Profession, right? (4, in my case.) Then there's the others. What is "Item Create Modifier?" What is "Equip GP Bonus?"

Also, where do I put my first level expansion? (I chose noble blood.) There seems to be a place on the progression sheet for each level's expansion except level one's.

Finally, what is meant by "Preregs" in "Class Taken/Preregs"?

This is how much cash you have to spend during the game session. Note that this includes any unspent cash from your character creation, see next answer.

Yup, yup, yup (remember though, the ranks already gave you rankX10 to your starting gold), you get 10g per item creation feat you have, and the last one is anything that was left unspent from your starting gold.

Yes, you may want to know where this info is from. See the MoH campaign standards.

Also, where do I put my first level expansion? (I chose noble blood.) There seems to be a place on the progression sheet for each level's expansion except level one's.

Thats because the character sheet is the MoH character sheet where you didn't get a 1st level expansion slot. Since XE characters do get a 1st level expansion slot you'll just have to write it in there.

Finally, what is meant by "Preregs" in "Class Taken/Preregs"?

I can only imagine this means prereqs and not preregs. I've never used it, but also have never taken a PrC with prereqs other than simple stuff like skills/feats/caster levels which are easy to verify on the other pages. Perhaps if you are trying to get into a PrC with specific event requirements you'd use it for that.

You don't get money for Crafting Feats in this campaign -they modify costs.

The MoH handbok is a useful guide at present but it isn't a valid rules source. The new ECS should be more complete when it's releaced.

The MoH campaign standards didn't note the extra CoH bonus under crafting feats, it had to be found in the CoH section, which the XE campaign standards doesn't even have. Considering this, I don't think assuming you get the extra 10g per cration feat is overstepping any boundaries...well that and its pretty insignificant anyways.

Ah, I see. So the whole thing isn't exactly all together yet, then.

Hopefully, there will be a complete answer by the 28th, which is when I need that character done by (first session of XE--can't wait!).

So I do add 10 gold to my starting gold per craft skill (or profession skill?) rank. Then, I can safely spend it all, since I'll have an amount of gold in my CoH. However, I don't have to, since I can put it into my equipment bonus, thus raising my CoH.

Is this right?

If not just fill in with the MoH campaign standards until newer XE standards come up that cover everything.

Yes, though remember they also add an additional 1gp per rank directly to your CoH, effectively making each rank worth 11gp each.

Nothing in the XE CS refers to Coin on Hand as far as I have seen. Since the section on 'Shopping in Stormreach' (p10) would be the ideal place to put rules on CoH and only refers to spending money left over from your EV, it would seem to me that CoH doesn't exist in XE. Certainly we've not been using it in the games I've been involved in.

Remember that this is XE, not MoH. If the XE CS don't mention something, then it doesn't exist in this campaign!

Since it was based on the LGR and MoH campaigns which both used CoH that thought had never occured to me. I suppose that is possible. It certianly would help clear a lot of different things up if XE had its own character sheets.
