Blackwheel unlocks warforged scout... and the is a card to unlock psiforged... Can the warforged Scout be psionic.. seems pretty clear cut that he should be able to... Using the card to unlock warforged artificer substitution levels... and the 1st lvl expansion slot to unlock "psionic artificer" from magic of eberron (stacked with the warforge combo above(Psiforged Scout). Since the "Psionic Artificer" is a variation of Artificer (not a seperate class), does this allow the substitution of the Psionic Artificer class levels for Warforged Artificer? Here is a look at the Psionic Artificer class changes: -) Skill bonuses change from UMD to UPD (or spellcraft to psicraft, etc...) -) Infusions are based on Powers instead of Spells.. (no real change)... -) Item Creation (can ONLY emulate Powers, NOT spells) -) Feats (replaces Item Creation Feats with Psionic Versions... ) Here is a look at the racial substitutions: 1) Infuse Self (+1 CL for Infustions on self... ) as far as I can tell you give up NOTHING to get this ability? 4) Tools of War (auto repair with every infusion, 2x craft reserve..) Replaces Craft Homonuculous, limits use of craft reserve(not much).. (which the Psionic Artificer still gets by default) 5) Weapon Familiar (gain "familiar" weapon which costs 1000gp) replaces Retain Essense ability... the Xendrix replaces this already with 300gp in craft reserve (oh well, 300gp less... darn... upon reaching 9th level you have made back the 300gp loss with the 4th level sub ability that grants you double reserve... From that point on the craft reserve pools only gets better.. you just have to restrict yourself in what you use them to create... My feeling is that with the default "Transparency" rule for Psionics/Magic ... these abilities shoudl translate over without any real problem.... I also have a question about the "Warforged Artificer" racial sub levels 4&5 which list the BA as 1 point lower than normal... I assume this BA remains 1 point lower?
