| echoota03-18-07, 08:22 AM | So in creating a DM mark game is the normal thing to do to order it two weeks in advance and then just cancel the event when the time comes, then reorder later so that you can run it when you're actually ready? Just wondering. I've been working on a story but I know that the two week window I'd have to run the mod isn't enough to get everything worked out to my satisfaction, much less organize a table for our home group. |
| WolfStar7603-18-07, 08:45 AM | For retail play two weeks is the *minimum* amount of time to order a mod before play (I think for home play the minimum is one week - not sure). If you wanted to schedule a larger "order" window, you certainly could - so long as your play date isn't scheduled after the play dates posted. So, if a DM's Mark was available from 5/1 to 5/31, starting in mid-april you could order the DM's Mark for play on 5/31, giving you about 6 weeks to create, prep, and play the mod. |
| pedr03-18-07, 11:57 AM | But you can't download a module (or DM's Mark packet) earlier than three weeks before the event. Having said that, three weeks is probably enough time to tweak your adventure to incorporate the small amount of adventure content in the packet. |
