Creation Card Speculation [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-29-06, 04:26 PM So, the online character tracker is up where you'd expect it, one for each faction. It has a drop-down list for the different creation cards. It seems to be in the process of going up, because i've checked it twice today and they've added options.

06-29-06, 04:33 PM The new ones seem to be: Ancient Blood of Xen'drik, Sand Swimmer of Menechturan (sp), and Stalker of Skyfall.

Given that Ancient Blood of Xen'drik seems to enable psionic classes, it's a good guess it unlocks the Half-Giant from XPH. Similarly, the Sand Swimmer sounds a lot like the Asherati from Sandstorm, which people might have seen playing Bright Sands LG mods. The Stalker of Skyfall, however, remains a mystery to me.

06-29-06, 09:39 PM Not just racial unlocks--mind you. But they unlock feats, equipment, prestige classes, and spells as well. ;)

Bizzare Little Idol isn't a creation card, but I still think it's fun to toy around with--as are the new auto-action-point additions, symbolized by a little gold coin in the bottom right corner. :)

06-30-06, 04:59 PM Stalker of Skyfall unlocks the Catfolk from races of the wild. +1 lvl adjust and costs two stack slots. I just recieved my cards today. Stalker of Skyfall is card 1 of 10. cards 3-8 are general, and 9-10 are item. Didn't recieve card 2. I would think that is one of the other two creation cards mentioned earlier. Plus there are five promo cards at gen con. Adventuring prodigy and four others.

06-30-06, 06:35 PM From other forums, Card 2 is the creation card for the Asherati.
My new guess is that the card that I believe will unlock half-giants will be available at Gen Con, probably as a lesser delve reward than Adventuring Prodigy.

06-30-06, 08:31 PM yes the half-giant is another card from the xendrik delve at gencon indy as well at gencon socal and WF 07. you can choose that card too.

the other promo cards from that are item ones but i can't say which ones until that becomes public but there cool ones. (at least IMO)
