Tarvok 10-23-06, 09:46 PM	Our event is going to be starting up with Xen'drik Expiditions in our next session. I have only recently started playing in RPGA campaigns (very cool, by the way). As such, I have no cards yet; in particular, no creation cards. In the future, I will likely be receiving such. My question is, suppose I end up with a creation card that allows me to create a character that I would really like to create, but was not core legal when I first made my character. How does it work if I decide to use this? Obviously, I create a new character, but that means I start off at level 1, again, when the folks I have been playing with up to this point may have advanced their characters a bit. I'm not even really sure how to ask the question. What are your experiences with this phenomenon?

One thing to remember is that at the time of Winter Fantasy (February), all characters below 4th level will be bumped to 4th level. Unless you belong to a hardcore group, you'll likely be at their level or only a level behind at that time. That means you have two options. Start the character now and live with being a level or two behind, or wait until the level bump to start a new character.
