| smerwin2911-20-06, 01:30 PM | Absolutely. As long as you stick to the rules for DM's Marks, you can run anything you'd like. Obviously, there is a chance players will have already played the WotC- or Dungeon-published mods already, so you will want to know this information before running a DM's Mark for a group. | trollbill11-20-06, 03:10 PM | Well, I had actually started this group before Xendrik came out in the intro mod in the back of the ECS, and had run them in Queen with Burning Eyes in prepration to start the Shadows of the Last War series. But just before we were to start it we heard about XendriK and decided to scrap that campaign for Xendrik. Since I already bought the mods, though, this would be a great use for them. BTW, where do I find the rules for running a DM's Mark. Do I have to sign up to run one and then download the packet to get the rules, or are they located somewhere else? |
| smerwin2911-20-06, 04:23 PM | You order them just as you would order any adventure. The instructions are in the packet you download. In case it isn't clear, DM's Marks are adventures that you create. Their are limits placed on the xp and gp you can give. So if you did run a DM's Mark using published material, that's great, but the players still only get the xp and gp of anyone else. No finding an airship in the DM's Mark and keeping it. Shawn |
