Can a DMs Mark satisfy a prestige class requirement, such as surviving a cave in, meeting a deity, getting stung by a scorpion, etc? If so, should I just write it on their adventure journal?

Can a DMs Mark satisfy a prestige class requirement, such as ... meeting a deityIn Eberron? That's some serious non-canon right there. There's no direct contact with the gods in Eberron. Even the celestials don't have proof the gods exist.

Well, maybe you could meet the Traveler. But even then, how would you know?

True, although I think it would be extremely easy to meet this requirement if you're an Aerenal Elf Cleric of the Undying Court. They have direct contact with their "deity" all the time, at least on their home island.

Or, for that matter, for a cleric of the Blood of Vol to meet the Lich Queen. Not quite as easy, but still quite possible.

However, let's not get off-topic - the core question remains, if a DM's mark can be used to meet special PrC requirements (like Special Missions in LG).

Seekers of the Blood of Vol worship the energy and power of life infused within blood, the Divinity Within. the lich queen is simply the top tier within the religion, not the diety. she's the equivalent of the pope within catholocism... though arguably not quite so pleasant. in fact, the vast majority of the religion don't know of or support the ambitions of Erandis d'Vol.
