Any plans to bring on an editor for the campaign cards and documents? I must admit, my eyes bleed a little every time I see "Bizzare Little Idol."

We are now (emphasis, now) the editors for these things. Take that for what you will. :plotting: :D

Professional editor here. Like the other Factionmasters, I'll do my best to keep as many errors as possible out of documents, adventures, and anything else we "publish." But the structure of the RPGA and the limited time makes perfection impossible. If you work in the business, you know that 80% of the time is spent on the last 20% of the job when you polish it as much as it could be, and we just don't have that time.

And that's why we are going to release a draft version for y'all to review.

I really don't care if there are typos as long as it is awesome material. I don't get people who post stuff like this, no offense OP.

Bad spelling and bad grammar causes me to experience a cognitive stop while reading. Essentially, my brain becomes "hung up" on the error for a moment. This impedes my ability to absorb the material that I'm reading. That means that no matter how awesome the material, I can't appreciate it if it's presented with typos and errors.

Some people can easily ignore mistakes in spelling and grammar; some can't. It is not unreasonable to hope that there be as few errors as possible. You just need to understand that the RPGA is certainly not going to have an editor on staff to make sure things are flawless, and time considerations make it impossible to do the kind of editing you might find at a publishing house, and errors even slip through with mutiple sets of eyes going over a manuscript before publication.

Everyone will get a chance when we post it. A few unavoidable delays have cropped up, so give us a few more days.

I don't expect perfection; I just hope it doesn't have complete omissions (as the old MoH one did) or that things like titles on cards are misspelled (while the text on the card isn't!).

We all know that the FMs have enough on their hands and that perfection can't be expected. But as a spelling & grammar fiend too, I understand the OP's point of view. I'd be quite happy to help edit the CS (and other documents, for that matter)... if I had the right program. Adobe Acrobat?
